To effectively manage PCNs in Zerity, users must first familiarize themselves with the dashboard interface, which provides an overview of all issued penalties. This centralized system allows for efficient tracking, payment, and disputing of notices. It's crucial for users to promptly address any received PCNs to avoid additional fines or complications. Zerity's platform also supports bulk actions, enabling organizations to handle multiple notices simultaneously, streamlining the management process for fleets or multiple vehicle owners.

Uploading PCN document in Zerity

To upload a PCN document in Zerity, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to Vehicles > PCNs section on your dashboard.

  2. Click on the 'Upload PCN' button, which is typically located towards the top of the page.

  3. Select the PCN document from your device. Zerity supports various file formats, including PDF, JPG, and PNG.

  4. Once selected, confirm the upload by clicking on the 'Submit' button.

After submitting, the document will be read by Zerity AI and prepare the information for you:

  • Vehicle registration number

  • Date and time of the violation

  • Location of the violation

  • Penalty amount

This information will automatically be updated in your PCN entry, making it easier to keep track of all your PCNs.

Adding and allocating a PCN to a driver

Allocating a PCN to a specific driver within Zerity can be accomplished with a few straightforward steps, ensuring that responsibilities for penalties are clearly defined and managed effectively:

  1. Access the PCNs inbox.

  2. Select the "Add to System" option.

  3. Two options will be presented to you:

    1. Add to the driver's balance.

    2. Transfer liability.

Deducting the PCN from the driver's payments

Once the amount is credited to the driver's balance, there are two methods for deducting funds during driver payments:

  1. Opt for an automatic periodic installment plan until the full amount is repaid.

  2. Elect to manually deduct the PCN amount, either in full or partially.

Reporting and Analytics

For organizations managing multiple vehicles and drivers, Zerity offers a comprehensive reporting and analytics feature. This tool provides valuable insights into PCN trends, allowing you to identify common issues, monitor dispute outcomes, and implement proactive measures to reduce future penalties. Features include:

  • A dashboard summarizing all PCNs, including those paid, disputed, and outstanding.

  • Filters to view PCNs by driver, vehicle, date, and outcome.

  • Analytics to identify patterns, such as frequent locations for violations or times of day when incidents are most likely.

Leveraging these insights, managers can take targeted actions to educate drivers, adjust routes, or modify schedules, thereby minimizing the risk of accruing future penalties and improving overall operational efficiency.
